Our Story
Nammex was founded by Jeff Chilton, who’s been growing mushrooms since 1973, before most of today’s supplement industry existed. He co-wrote The Mushroom Cultivator, helped bring the first commercially grown fresh shiitake to the U.S. market, and spent the last three decades building direct relationships with organic mushroom farmers in China.
